Where can I transfer to?

When you follow an Associate of Arts in Teaching pathway, you can transfer to any public university in the state of Texas.

However, many community colleges have partner universities they work closely with to provide students a seamless transfer experience. Partnerships allow for easy credit transfer and a clear pathway from community college to a teaching program at a 4-year school. (This is also called an articulation agreement.)

In the next section, you can find a list of partner universities for each Dallas-area community college.

Partner Universities

You can easily transfer to these partner universities after earning your Associate of Arts in Teaching degree at a DFW community college. To find the right fit you might consider tuition costs, certification areas they offer, and different student teaching options.
