The Dallas College School of Education offers one of the nation’s most affordable and high-quality teacher preparation programs and certification track.

Students earn a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching (B.A.S. ECE) while completing a year-long teacher residency and an initial teaching certificate as an undergraduate.

Program Info

Teach at Dallas College ACP delivers high-quality educator preparation using a teacher internship model based on exploration, hands-on experiences and inquiry-based practices. You will have ongoing, supported opportunities to use the skills you develop, with corresponding benchmarks in growth required and tracked through performance-based assessments in each course. Relevant and aligned internship experiences correspond with each phase to ensure opportunities for practice throughout the program.

At this time, Teach at Dallas College ACP is only accepting applications from candidates currently enrolled in the Dallas College Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Teaching program. Past graduates of the program are also eligible to apply. If you are not currently enrolled in the Dallas College bachelor’s degree program and are interested in learning more, please contact TeachatDallasCollegeACP@DallasCollege.edu.
