Coppell is a great community and I feel fortunate to get to work for a district that supports their teachers and helps support them with research and tools. Coppell ISD is all on the same page about understanding the importance of building relationships.

      Why I Teach

My spark moment was in high school when I was involved in Ready Set Teach, a program where students went to a nearby elementary every day to tutor. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it and it made me grateful for  the great teachers she had while in Coppell ISD. I attended the University of North Texas in Denton and earned an Interdisciplinary Studies degree student taught in Grapevine/ Colleyville.

“I had a lot of great mentor teachers I could go to for advice. I was the first person in my family, nuclear and extended, to become a teacher. A lot of it was figuring it out on my own, not necessarily following someone else.”

I grew up in Coppell ISD and am very happy to bring my talents back home.
